The deadline to enter the 2025 Robotics & Automation Awards has been extended to 5pm (BST) on Thursday 31 July – giving organisations extra time to submit their most innovative robotics and automation projects.
Returning to London’s De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms on 29 October, the awards will celebrate outstanding applications of automation across a wide range of sectors.
This year’s refreshed programme introduces six parent categories designed to reflect where robotics and automation are delivering tangible, real-world impact:
- Retail & E-Commerce
- Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals
- Food & Beverage
- Automotive
- Transport & Logistics
- People – a dedicated category for individual and organisational excellence
Within each category, companies can enter multiple sub-categories, including:
- Best Use of AI
- Best Use of Cobots
- Best Use of Drones
- Manufacturing Innovation
- Sustainable Innovation
- Warehouse Innovation
The People category also includes SME of the Year and Rising Star awards, spotlighting exceptional talent and leadership in the field.
“The Robotics & Automation Awards are about more than just technology – they’re about the innovators and change-makers applying automation to solve complex societal and industrial challenges,” said John Thornton, editor-in-chief of Robotics & Automation Magazine, which organises and hosts the event.
“This year’s restructured format ensures we celebrate achievements across the most dynamic and influential sectors of the economy.”
Entries will be judged by an independent panel comprising industry leaders, academics and technical experts. Projects must be based in the UK, or submitted by organisations with a UK presence.
Submissions should include measurable outcomes, case studies, visuals and testimonials that demonstrate impact and scalability.
Finalists will be announced on 6 August, with judging taking place from 1-5 September. Entry is free, and organisations can enter as many categories as they wish.
With just one week left until the deadline, now is the time to showcase your success and gain recognition from peers, customers and key stakeholders.
