Wandercraft, a leading developer of self-balancing robotic mobility systems, has announced the successful completion of a US$75m (£58.8m) Series D funding round, comprising both equity and debt financing.
The investment was supported by Renault Group, the PSIM fund managed on behalf of the French state by Bpifrance under the France 2030 plan, Teampact Ventures, and Quadrant Management.

The capital injection will support Wandercraft’s continued development of Eve, which it expects to be the world’s first self-balancing personal exoskeleton when it enters the market in early 2026.
It will also bolster the growth and adoption of Atalante X, the company’s flagship rehabilitation system already in clinical use, and enable further progress on Calvin-40, its newly unveiled industrial humanoid robot.
The funding follows the recent announcement of a strategic partnership with Renault Group, which now holds a minority stake in Wandercraft.
The collaboration aims to leverage Renault’s industrial expertise to help scale the production of Wandercraft’s robotic systems, beginning with Eve and extending to its broader range of humanoid robots.
Renault Group has also become the first commercial customer of Calvin-40, a humanoid robot designed for physically demanding industrial tasks.
Calvin-40 is the first humanoid robot of its kind created by a European company. The robot’s rapid development (in 40 days) was made possible by Wandercraft’s robotics platform and its integration with NVIDIA’s Isaac technologies, including the Isaac GR00T N1 foundation model and the Jetson edge AI platform.
With its Series D funding secured, Wandercraft is aiming to bring ‘Eve’ into domestic and outdoor use, support the wider rollout of Atalante X in rehabilitation settings, and begin industrial deployment of Calvin-40 alongside future additions to the Calvin humanoid family.
