Yango Group and Expo City Dubai have announced a collaboration to introduce an autonomous food delivery service within Expo City Dubai.
The service will use a fleet of self-driving delivery vehicles developed by Yango Tech, utilising advanced robotics and artificial intelligence to provide efficient and sustainable food delivery across the Expo City campus.
Expo City Dubai continues to serve as a testing ground for new technological advancements, providing a controlled urban environment where autonomous delivery solutions can be piloted and refined before wider deployment.
The defined zones within Expo City create an ideal setting for safely assessing the performance of these autonomous vehicles.
The introduction of autonomous food delivery is expected to improve convenience by offering faster and more flexible service options for residents and visitors.
Additionally, the use of autonomous vehicles has the potential to increase delivery efficiency through optimised routing, which could reduce traffic congestion and fuel consumption compared to traditional delivery methods.
