The Sustainable City 2.0 represents SEE Holding’s flagship model for future urban environments, integrating intelligent systems to improve operational efficiency, sustainability, and quality of life. It forms part of SEE Holding’s broader vision to achieve net-zero carbon emissions by 2050.
This milestone follows the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between Micropolis and SEE Holding in April, which outlined plans for strategic cooperation in sustainable urban technologies.
Under the current phase, Micropolis’s technologies will be integrated into the city’s infrastructure, including autonomous vehicle fleets, AI-enhanced security operations via integrated command centres, and computer vision capabilities supported by edge computing nodes.
In addition, both companies are collaborating on a joint research and development programme to enhance Micropolis’s sustainable urban solutions. The initiative is designed to optimise operational performance, improve resident experience, and advance environmental outcomes across SEE Holding’s global portfolio of sustainable city projects.
Both parties view the deployment at TSC 2.0 as a crucial step towards scalable, smart urban development capable of addressing the climate and infrastructure challenges of the future.
Fareed Aljawhari, CEO of Micropolis Holding, said: “This initial phase will demonstrate how our AI-driven solutions can seamlessly integrate with net-zero principles, enhancing safety, efficiency, and quality of life for residents.”
