Following the resounding success of last year’s ceremony, the Robotics & Automation Awards return to London’s prestigious De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms on 29 October 2025. But to be in with a chance of winning, entries must be submitted by 5pm (BST) on Wednesday, 24 July.
This year’s programme introduces a refreshed structure, with six parent categories celebrating the industries where robotics and automation are driving tangible, real-world impact:
- Retail & E-Commerce
- Healthcare & Pharmaceuticals
- Food & Beverage
- Automotive
- Transport & Logistics
- A dedicated People category highlighting individual and organisational excellence
Across these sectors, organisations can enter multiple sub-categories, including:
- Best Use of AI
- Best Use of Cobots
- Best Use of Drones
- Manufacturing Innovation
- Sustainable Innovation
- Warehouse Innovation
In addition, the People category includes SME of the Year and Rising Star, shining a spotlight on those who are transforming the future of automation.
“The Robotics & Automation Awards are about more than just technology – they’re about the innovators and change-makers applying automation to solve society’s most complex challenges,” said John Thornton, editor-in-chief of Robotics & Automation Magazine, which organises and hosts the event.
“This year’s revamped structure ensures we recognise the very best achievements across a truly diverse range of sectors.”
Entries will be evaluated by an independent panel of judges comprising industry leaders, academics and technical specialists.
Submissions should demonstrate clear evidence of impact and scalability, supported by case studies, measurable metrics, visuals and testimonials where relevant.
Shortlisted finalists will be announced on 6 August, with judging interviews taking place from 1-5 September, ahead of the live awards ceremony on 29 October.
Entries are completely free, and there is no limit to the number of categories you can enter – giving your organisation the best possible chance to showcase its achievements.
