Continental has introduced the NXS 300, a compact transport robot designed to move stacked small load containers of up to 300kg fully autonomously.
The autonomous mobile robot (AMR) aims to enhance automation in production and logistics environments without requiring modifications to existing floor-roller tracks.
It can travel at speeds of up to two metres per second and features omnidirectional movement with a 360-degree sensor array to navigate safely in mixed-traffic areas.

Currently being piloted at Continental facilities in Rheinböllen, Germany, and Sibiu, Romania, the NXS 300 is expected to enter the market in early 2026.
The robot’s integrated lift platform supports loading and unloading, while its combination of AGV and AMR allows it to work in various operation layouts.
Achievements and innovations in retail and e-commerce, healthcare and pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, automotive, transport & logistics, and more will be celebrated at the Robotics & Automation Awards on 29 October 2025 at De Vere Grand Connaught Rooms in London.
