MVTec Software, a supplier of machine vision software, has announced the introduction of Mitsubishi Electric Europe, an electronics and electrical equipment manufacturer, into its MVTec Technology Partner Program.
Within Mitsubishi’s range of contact image sensors (CIS), all models use a standard interface, meaning these solutions are directly compatible with its new partner’s software products.
The software company also offers an interface to Mitsubishi’s Melsec programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
Through the new partnership, a unified framework to consolidate these existing factors will be established. It is hoped this will optimise opportunities for collaboration and ensure smooth and sustainable integration of Mitsubishi products into the MVTec portfolio.
